“My children serve as a constant source of inspiration, particularly my youngest. She would eagerly color my drawings and look forward to the next one”, she says. This sparked an idea in her to create a coloring book, but she wanted to take it a step further by adding an educational dimension that would benefit even more the children.
As a professional in the hospitality industry for her entire career, She loved her work, but a significant personal event prompted her to make a dramatic change. She chose to pivot her career and pursue her teenage passion for drawing.
In this inaugural volume of a "Colors around the World" collection to come, her drawings feature cartoony characters in traditional clothing from different countries, and engaging facts about the animals, cultures and languages from the locations that inspired each drawing.
